The arts have always been ways that people show their love to God. Worship is critical at Calvary Church and we are committed to helping people worship God when we gather and helping people live a life of worship everyday.

Worshiping Weekly

 

"You have six days when you can do your work, but the seventh day of each week is holy because it belongs to [God]."  Leviticus 23:30 (CEV)

 

The Sabbath is a time to "Be still and know that I am God." 
Psalms 46:10 (NIV)

 

Preparing for Worship

"Who may stand in His holy place?  Only those whose hands and hearts are pure."  Psalms 24:3-4, 6 (NLT)

 

When we worship with an unprepared heart, we sin.

 

Praying Together 

"They all meet together continually for prayer..."  Acts 1:14 (NLT)

 

As you pray with a group, your faith will be strengthened

and you'll see God's power unleashed.

 

Giving Our Offerings

 
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  Matthew 6:21 (NIV)

 

Giving back to God is the heart of worship.

 

Celebrating Together

 
"I will celebrate and be joyful because you, Lord, have saved me."  Psalms 35:9 (CEV)

 

Every time I celebrate God with others, I'm practicing for heaven.
